Turlock Doula Services
Birth Doula Postpartum Doula Childbirth & Breastfeeding Educator
Now accepting Medi-Cal Members!
If you are a Medi-Cal member, you CAN have a Doula!
In 2023, Medi-Cal began covering Doula support for their members, and I'm so excited to announce that I am now a Medi-Cal Provider! There is a standing order in the state of California for Medi-Cal Doula services, so you don't need a referral to have a Doula! Just message me so I can check my availability, and to save your dates; then we can get started!
I'm currently taking clients in Stanislaus and Merced counties.
What do your Medi-Cal benefits entitle you to?
They will cover your birth preference planning
8 prenatal visits with me to help prepare you for childbirth
Birth Support when you go into labor (this applies to vaginal or cesarean births, as well as miscarriage/abortion/stillbirth support)
Postpartum support for after your baby arrives
Up to 9 additional postpartum sessions that you can use anytime in the first year after your birth (these 9 additional do require approval from a provider).
I'm so excited to extend my services to our local families! Yes, you too can have a supported birth from a trained professional Doula!
EVERYONE deserves a Doula!
Welcome!
I'm Stephanie, and I'm a Madriella Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula as well as a Certified Childbirth Educator and Breastfeeding Educator. I am so excited to bring my Birth, Postpartum, and Education services to Turlock! I have a passion for supporting others through labor, delivery, and the newborn period. I'm a mom of four amazing kids and I'm ready to share my knowledge and experience with others as they expand their families. I try to bring a calm and steady peacefulness to my clients and their partners as I offer Physical Support, Emotional Support, Informational Support, Partner Reinforcement, and Self-Advocacy; the 5 main facets of being a Madriella Doula. As your Doula I will listen to your questions and fears, and together we will create a plan to give you the best support that I can offer!
I'm so delighted to help you have an empowered birth! I aim to support families here in Turlock and the immediate areas surrounding it; if you live in Turlock but plan to have your baby elsewhere, I will travel out of town for a birth.

Mission Statement
As a Birth and Postpartum Doula,
my mission is to prepare new parents
by educating, encouraging, and empowering them
so they feel supported, gain confidence, and learn skills
to birth and care for their new baby.
My Vision
Give birthing people a voice in the decisions surrounding their births.
Be a voice for birth justice; everyone deserves dignity, respect, and to be heard.
Educate new parents in newborn care, and build their skills and confidence.
Make sure my clients have adequate Labor, Delivery, Newborn and Breastfeeding/Chestfeeding support.
Make a difference in our Turlock community, and prioritize referrals to businesses located in Turlock.
My Core Values
Offer compassionate support.
Honor peoples' personal choices and their right to make them.
Care for our community IN our community.
Birth justice for everyone, no matter their gender or color.
Attachment parenting and honoring kids as unique individuals.
Parenting is challenging and parents need to be patient and forgiving with themselves.
I use a humanistic approach.
There is strength in calmness, and there is power in relaxation.
Everyone you meet knows something that you don't know.
Encourage and build-up the people around you; it's better to rise together than to compete and knock each other down.
